Upcoming Workshops

I’ve started partnering more regularly with a local pagan shop, The Magical Druid (Rev. Dangleris one of the co-owners, and you can shop online), in order to teach classes.  I teach on the 4th Saturday of the month, and occasionally other one-off classes.  Here’s my schedule for the first quarter, and I’ll release my notes and such for over on Patreon as I create them.  Stuff that goes well I may bring to festivals this year. We’ll see. If you’re local, you should totally show up for the class though 🙂

January 27, 12:30p: “Jar Spells for January with Jan”

Like any good witch, I simply can’t turn down empty jars.  Join Rev. Jan to learn about Jar Spells and how to work this magic at the beginning of the year to set intentions and banish things that shouldn’t follow you into the new year.

February 24, 12:30p: “Waking Up Your Garden”

Are you itching for Spring?  Join Rev. Jan to learn about both the mundane and spiritual steps to prepping your garden for the season, whether you have just a few pots on your porch or a full homestead set-up.  We’ll cover tool and seed blessings, calling on Land Spirit allies, and aspects of planning crop placement.

March 17, 12:30p: “Seed Exchange”

The weather may not have shifted quite yet, but that means now is the perfect time to get your seeds together and start tackling garden planning and seed starting.  Bring along seeds you’ve saved or have left over, and pick up some new ones to try this year.  The success of this event correlates to your participation!

March 23, 12:30p: “Intro to Candle Magick”

Join Rev. Jan to learn about the aspects that can go into candle magick, from choosing an appropriate candle, to scribing and dressing.  This will be a hands-on workshop as we work to prepare a chime candle for use.  Additional candles, herbs, and oils available for purchase from the shop.
